my mom loves this bag from Cole Haan. It's called the "Genevieve" collection. If I was a really good daughter I would buy it for her. But if I did by it I would probably keep it for myself because it's super cute. Maybe I'll just tell my dad to get it for her....
I have to update nails, too. Think Indian. (The dot, not the feathers) We are still seeing jewel-tones like we did last fall, but just brighter. There are bright pinks, red, gold, even blue nails! And one trend that is still holding on strong is the dark nails. just more eggplant than black this season. Maybe as we are coloring our easter eggs this month we can be inspired by all the bright colors and wake up those drab mom-nails. Happy painting!
I am so excited for my new shoes to get here! They are both from nordstrom.com (online shopping is very troublesome for me) But they are from Jessica Simpson's new collection! And I'm loving so much of her stuff lately. Surprising, actually. I am so ready for warmer weather, and there's nothing like new shoes to ring in the new season!
Go to maccosmetics.com to check out the new spring/summer trends. for the lips try a fun red, don't go clown, though. with that red lip do a neutral eye shadow, but make sure your lashes look dark and defined so you don't look like you forgot to put on half of your makeup. If red just doesn't do it for you , another trend is smoky silver eye shadow. apply any shade of silver or grey to the entire lid, once again making sure you have enough mascara and eyeliner to make the eye pop. And finally, you can try a neutral shade of shadow, but go metallic. like bronze or gold with a soft pink lip and lots of gloss. think day at the beach sun-kissed glow.
